Helping Farmers Succeed In Agritourism
I believe farming can be both meaningful and financially sustainable.

My journey into agritourism started from a simple question many farmers ask themselves:
“How can I earn a better living from the land I already have?”

Over the years, I discovered that welcoming people onto the farm—sharing real stories, real food, and real experiences—can transform a farm’s income and purpose.

Today, I actively bring visitors from all over the world to my durian farm. Guests travel from different countries to experience the farm, learn about durians, and enjoy the land in a way that goes far beyond buying fruit. Through this process, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful farm experiences can be—not just for income, but for pride, connection, and long-term sustainability.

Our work has also attracted international attention. Bloomberg News visited our durian farm, spending time on-site and interviewing visitors to understand why people travel specifically for farm experiences. Seeing global media take interest reinforced something I already believed: authentic farms have global appeal.

Along this journey, I’ve been grateful for opportunities to contribute beyond my own farm. I was invited to participate in a tourism-related event organized by the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, where our team received a token of appreciation for our involvement in promoting local tourism. Moments like this remind me that agritourism isn’t just a personal business—it’s part of a bigger ecosystem that supports rural communities and local economies.

As more people visited, farmers, landowners, businesses, exporters, government agencies and even politician began reaching out to me directly. Many wanted advice. This includes farming and on how to structure and promote agritourism. I don’t position myself as a “guru.” I simply share what has worked, what hasn’t, and what I’ve learned by doing it myself on the ground.

My passion is helping farmers build a second income stream through agritourism—one that fits their lifestyle, respects their land, and grows at a pace they’re comfortable with. I strongly believe that farms don’t need to become theme parks to succeed. Often, simple, well-run experiences outperform complicated and expensive setups.

This platform exists to share practical insights, real examples, and proven frameworks so farmers don’t have to figure everything out the hard way. If you’re a farmer, landowner, or someone considering agritourism, my goal is to help you see what’s possible—using what you already have.
Small farms matter. Stories matter. And when done right, welcoming visitors can change everything.
